How we made our leaf prints by Lewis and Kian
What you need: autumn leaves, black A3/A4 paper, white paint, cut up sponges, Autumn painting colours and you need a parent or guardian to help you cut the sponges.
· Step 1: I got new autumn leaves.
· Step 2: I got some black A3/A4 paper and I laid it on a flat surface.
· Step 3: I cut up sponges (get parent or guardian to cut the sponges if you’re 6 or lower) and got autumn colours like red, orange, blue, yellow and green.
· Step 4: I got some white paint I also got a leaf and I dabbed it in white paint on the spine of the leaf.
· Step 5: Stamp you’re leaf on the black paper hold the leaf on the paper for ten seconds then lift leaf slowly of the paper.
· Step 6: Then I coloured the blank spaces on the page with our autumn paints.
· Step 7: I waited for an hour or two to let the paint dry.
· Step 8: Then show it off to your friends, uncles, aunts and cousins.
